About the school

Wedmore First School was formed in 1876.  The school is not affiliated to a particular religious body, and religious education at the school is Christian-based and non-denominational. We are on an attractive site with large grounds and views of fields and orchards, and are fortunate to have our own heated outdoor swimming pool as well as an activity trail.  The village playing fields and  tennis courts are next to the school.

 

We are pleased to have Wedmore Playgroup on our site and we work closely with the Playgroup who also use some of our facilities.

 

We provide a growing range of activity clubs, a thriving after-school club and holiday club meet in the school.
